Challenging all young people to a call!  This years theme is "Kingdom Training Camp", we are seeking the Lord to revive our skills and refine our servant hood. This camp is geared toward training all who want to work in God's Kingdom!  HURRY AND PRE-REGISTER BY JUNE 24th!

CAMP F.A.Q.

 

-What time is camp arrival/registration?

Answer: Arrival & registration time is @ 2pm4:45pm.  During this time expect to register individually or with your youth group & pay any remaining dues.  Then a cabin will be assigned according to gender and age.

 

-How do I register, what do I need?

Answer: You will need three items; Pre-Registration Form, Code Of Conduct Form completely filled out & $50 in a non-profit check or money order made out to: Northern Golden Valley District, mailed in by June 24th 2011.  Mail to:  Sarah Bravo, 10657 W. Larch Rd, Tracy, CA 95304

 

-When is the due date for a guaranteed registration?

-Answer: June 24th 2011 is the registration due date; thereafter apply a late fee of $10

 

-Can I be reimbursed if I change my mind on going to camp?

Answer: Sorry, we cannot reimburse anything but we can transfer your credit to someone else and work out something with them.

 

-Can I be a partial camper?

Answer: Sorry, we can’t administer a partial price for campers.  If you have to arrive late, leave early or both, the price is the same, $200.

 

-SNACKBAR! Snack bar will be open at free times & after services.  Some items on the menu are; frappachino’s, soda, water, nachos, candy & etc.  Remember to bring extra cash with you!

 

-What is the camp attire?

Answer: Since we’re are camping… we don’t expect slacks, ties, or expensive clothing that might get ruined by the dirt roads.  Comfortable attire is fine but please review the “Code Of Conduct” form for specifics.

-What time is camp dismissal on Monday?

Answer: We must dismiss by 12 noon.

 

-Can we leave early Monday morning?

Answer: We strongly discourage, we will be giving awards & having a short dismissal service.

SPORTS???

 

-SOCCER/ FUTBOL! There will be soccer teams created at camp.

-BASKETBALL! Teams will be created at camp.

 

-PAINTBALL! Yes that’s right…Paintball!  There is a $20 rental fee for equipment which includes: Gun, hopper w/200 paintballs, mask & full tank.  Paintballs are being sold by the box of 500 for $15.  If you have any other questions about paintball at camp, shoot us an email.

 

-VOLLEYBALL!  Who’s got the spikes? Who knows teamwork? We’ll be having volleyball tournaments.

 

-DODGEBALL!  So you can dodge aye?  We’ll see about that!  Dodge ball will be new this year and played outside on cemented basketball courts.

 

-GAME ROOM!  Lord willing the game room will be open the whole time of recreation for those indoor sportspersons.  This room consists of: arcades, gaming counsels, ping pong, & pool table.  All games are free!
